The Bullet DVR Solo H.264 DVR is a simple one-channel recording device, which uses the latest and best encoder, H.264 for standard resolution videos. It's an affordable recording solution for those who already own a camera or any other video source. It looks similar to the Solo GPS unit, sharing the same aluminum housing, but without all the bells and whistles.

The 2.4" LCD screen allows for both monitoring and playback of the videos, so it can be used standalone without the need for a computer. Use the H.264 DVR to record off any composite A/V signal, with great results and rock solid performance.

The all-new Bullet DVR Solo H.264 uses fast SDHC memory cards (2Gb supplied, upgradeable to 32Gb) to encode audio and video using H.264 technology, providing superior results over previous mpeg-2 and mpeg-4 devices. It shares the same aluminum housing as the Solo GPS unit, but without any onboard GPS or laptimer functions, making for a cost-effective solution to record off any composite video input signal. It could be your own camera, TV or DVR signal. The H.264 DVR comes supplied with a quick-connect video cable, giving you RCA jack for video and a stereo plug for an external microphone.

The DVR comes with an internal mono mic already on-board. The cable can also supply clean DC power for your camera (up to 250 mAh), via the provided 2.1mm DC connector. A built-in rechargeable, lithium-Polymer battery pack will last up to 3 hours on a single charge. Both NTSC and PAL recording standards are supported.

The H.264 DVR comes supplied with a 2Gb memory card capable of storing up to 2 hours of video recordings. It can be upgraded up to 32Gb capacity. We recommend using Class 4 or 6 SDHC cards for optimal performance. Regular SD cards may also be used if you choose.

The CBL-01 video cable features a quick-connect plug that attaches to the Solo GPS or H.264 DVR, and provides connections for any composite video source (via RCA), a 3.5mm stereo input jack and a 2.1mm DC connector to power up any bullet cam or accessory directly off the DVR battery.

The supplied network cable lets you transfer the files contained on the memory card directly to your computer, via a network card, switch or router.

The included Infra-Red remote control is used to control the Bullet DVR"! unit. You can use it to Start/Stop recording, or to change any of the configuration parameters when connected to a TV or monitor.

The supplied AC Adapter is very convenient, for testing the Bullet DVR"! system at home or in the shop. It allows you to power up the system using any wall outlet 110/220VAC, instead of drawing the power from your vehicle's 12V battery. All the different plug types are available, and you can choose the one which is used for your country: USA/Canada, Europe, UK or Australia type.
