The new compact, durable, easy-to-use Drift HD miniature HD cam-corder has been reduced in size by 25% from the previous model (HD-170) resulting in a much smaller form factor than any other HD Point Of View cam-corder currently on the market.

An HDMI out port has been added to allow full quality HD playback direct to your large screen display right from the Drift HD. In addition, a 2.5mm external microphone-in jack has been added to allow remote microphone input for even better audio quality.

The new Drift HD also keeps the full 1.5” LCD preview screen of it's previous version in the new smaller package size.

The Drift HD from Drift Innovation takes amazing full HD1080p video at either 25 or 30 fps. Get the ultimate resolution and crystal clear video. The Drift HD can also shoot in 720p at 25, 30, 50, or 60 frames per second capturing wicked smooth motion. Play back with super detail or pick out rapid action in slow motion.

1.5” Color LCD Screen
The 1.5” color LCD screen on the Drift HD is a rarity among action cameras. The LCD screen is a real timesaver. A fast and easy to use menu system lets you make camera settings, frame and preview your videos so you can see exactly what you are shooting. Wireless Remote Control for Hands Free Capture Up To 16 Feet Chances are you indulge in some pretty dangerous sports. You can’t risk getting injured at high speed while trying to reach your camera’s controls. Acting like a second hand the Drift HD’s RF Wireless Remote Control with large buttons can be attached to your wrist or any gear for fast start and stop operation. With a 5 meter (16 feet) range, you are free to snap superior videos and still photos with no more than the touch of a button.

9 Megapixel Still Photos with Photoburst Mode Drift Innovation introduces the first action camera with 9MP still photos with the Drift HD. You no longer have to carry a separate point and shoot camera with the Drift HD. Get high quality images suitable for large prints. Preview stills on the convenient LCD screen and get sequential shots using the camera’s Photoburst Mode.

Built-in Microphone plus Microphone Input The Drift HD comes with a built in microphone with sensitivity control but if that is not good enough for you. You have the option to connect an external microphone into the built in 2.5mm port. You can now attach a professional microphone like the RODE portable microphone via a 2.5mm-3.5mm adapter.

HDMI Output Get the convenience of immediate output to a high definition screen without converting videos or burning to DVD. The new Drift HD includes HDMI output so you can connect it to a HDTV or computer screen for instant review of your videos.

Improved External Ports Back Panel The Drift HD comes with a new back panel that houses covered ports for both USB and HDMI. You can charge via USB and output to HDMI without exposing the camera insides.

Improved Mounting Capabilities Drift HD comes with an improved goggle mount and is equipped with an integrated 1/4"-20 thread tripod connection, the Drift HD doesn't require any special mount adapter to be used with the wide variety of universal mounts available, including: Drift Mounts, our RAM Mount Kits, or any other standard universal mount. Lithium Ion Battery for Maximum Power The Drift HD uses a rechargeable Li-Ion Battery saving you from burning through AAA or AA batteries like some of the POV Cameras on the market.
